Original drawings (and one photograph) for building designs by John Galen Howard. 1: an auditorium in a park, dated 1891 (France) -- 2: an open air pavilion, dated 1892 (France) -- 3: grand staircase in a street façade, perhaps for a theater -- 4: detail of a grand Beaux Arts entrance, with "Chateau" and four names inscribed: "Bossuet", "Vigny", "Montaig[ne]", "Shelley"--5: detail of the Ecole de Médecine, Paris -- 6: sketch for cover for the court, Hotel Renaissance (NY, Howard & Cauldwell) -- 7: house for Joseph Pulitzer (NY, Howard & Cauldwell) -- 8-10: three elevations for the New York Public Library (the Astor, Lenox, and Tilden Foundation) -- 11: sketch of a domestic interior, with staircase from a parlor -- 12: photograph of the street-level façade and entrance of the Essex, by Wurts Bros.
